    Board Member

    Abby is an advocate for socially sustainable communities. She recently quit her ten-year long career in urban and transportation planning to pursue her passion of social entrepreneurship. Her interests deeply lies in guiding and mentoring people to awareness, acknowledgement, and transformation through healing.

    She believes children are the key to the sustainable societies of the future, and self-awareness in them is of paramount importance given the rapidly changing societies in the age of wireless technology. Wisdom of ancient civilizations blended with current age technology are the pillars to bring about much needed social change and peace in the world.

  • Aloha Ley

    Board Member

    Aloha is a wellness-centered leader blending 30+ years of public service with soulful practices. As a certified yoga teacher, she integrates daily meditation and transformational courses into her life for continuous personal development and growth.

    Her journey spans international aviation, anti-trafficking, and small community development—always rooted in safety, strategy, and heart. Aloha’s degrees in Transportation, Business, and Marketing, plus her Federal Executive Institute training, reflect her commitment to growth, innovation, and social impact.

  • Ana Laura Araya

    Board Member

    Ana Laura studied journalism and photography and graduated from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She has worked at nonprofit organizations and private foundations for over 15 years and has experience in the areas of communications, event planning and fundraising. Ana Laura has a certificate degree in Nonprofit Management from Harvard Extension School in 2023. She’s very passionate about raising awareness on the challenges that girls below the age of 18 face worldwide. She is also the Co-Founder of Soy Niña; an organization that works to empower under-served girls in Desamparados, Costa Rica.

  • Beth Dana

    Founder, CEO, Board President & Facilitator

    Beth is founder of Wellth Living, author of “Make Money Your Partner”, and a certified holistic healer. She intertwines her business interests with a passion for philanthropy. She has coached hundreds of people through leadership trainings, and studied Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Social Change with University for Peace in Costa Rica

    She supports people in healing their relationship with Self, from the inside-out; guiding people to find true inner peace, happiness & freedom, and becoming a leader in their life so they can best be a leader for the people around them.

    Beth has traveled to India to serve at the Mother Teresa House in Kolkata, served at orphanages in Tijuana, Mexico, and is a founding member of Alianza para el Desarrollo Comunitario (ADC), a Costa Rican based non-profit.

    Gabriela is a certified leadership and happiness coach, and a communication consultant who helps individuals thrive in life and business. Using the concepts of emotional intelligence, conscious leadership and mindfulness, she has helped people reduce stress, increase productivity, execute personal strategies, diminish conflict, and increase confidence.

    Research Analyst Intern

    Jennifer is a passionate Data Analyst and Researcher dedicated to advancing social impact and sustainable development through data-driven insights. With a background in sustainability and data analytics, she brings a practical perspective to advancing social impact through leadership and global development.

    At Wellth Living, she supports the organization’s mission by analyzing global trends in leadership, equity, and social change. Using skills in data visualization, survey design, and storytelling, she transforms complex information into actionable strategies that empower communities and foster meaningful progress. She is committed to using research as a tool for building a more just and well-informed world.

  • Karla Castillo Camacho

    Facilitator

    Born and raised in Costa Rica, Karla is a nutritionist (since 2014) and social worker (since 2018), both with honors from the University of Costa Rica. She has dedicated herself to providing nutritional consultations at the clinical and community levels, working with diverse populations through an inclusive approach to comprehensive health and well-being.

    Her work focuses on helping people improve their nutritional status by addressing, preventing, and treating obesity, chronic diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and emotional management, applying nutritional coaching techniques based on social work principles applied to nutrition.

    Passionate about continuous learning, she has completed courses in plant-based nutrition, sports nutrition, eating disorders, inclusive practices, and auriculotherapy, integrating her clinical expertise with a deep commitment to well-being.

  • Shan Carpenter

    Research Analyst Intern

    A U.S. Navy veteran and aspiring psychologist, Shan is passionate about community well-being, mental health advocacy, and lifelong learning. Her work focuses on supporting resilience, inclusion, and emotional growth across diverse populations. She values empathy, integrity, and teamwork, and brings a strong sense of service shaped by years of caregiving and cross-cultural experience. With interests bridging psychology, social justice, and research, she strives to make a meaningful impact by connecting people, ideas, and compassion to create healthier, more supportive communities.
